Lynd's fruit farm

last weekend we went to lynd's fruit farms to pick apples and pumpkins. we did this last year for the first time and loved it. it's amazing how different the weather was this year though. we went at least a week earlier this year and yet last year we wore shorts and this year we had coats on most of the day! they also have a market with every kind of vegetable, fruit, jam, etc. you could imagine. seeing all the vibrant colors is so beautiful! when we got home from picking, i made a delicious apple crisp. i love fall.

west palm

after spending 2 days in orlando, we rented a car and drove down to west palm beach. it was jamie's first time to south florida! i got to show him around my old school, PBA. we got a great deal on a place right on the island and spent most of our time at the beach. we also got to go see the blink 182 show with the all american rejects and hang out with our old friends. it was a great show and PACKED! the next day i took jamie on a tour of south florida. we went to the beach in boca, then drove down to ft. lauderdale and had dinner on the water. it was a great weekend!

orlando

jamie and i went to florida for a long weekend! it was a very eventful weekend, and so much fun! the first 2 days of our trip we were in orlando. we stayed with my good friend stacey and her very energetic dog, lexus. while we were there we went to the beach (cocoa and melborne) and we walked around my old, beautiful neighborhood, lake eola. i miss it so much!

nashville!

a couple of weekends ago we went to nashville with our friends, cass and maggie. maggie used to live there so she planned the weekend's events. we had a great time! we stayed downtown and of course went to tootsie's, but we also spent a lot of time on 21st street. jamie has a friend from high school who lives there, so we met him at las paletas, a gourmet popsicle shop! it was fantastic, if you are going to be in nashville any time soon, i highly recommend it! also, make sure you stop in and check out hatch show print.

4th of july

we had a great 4th of july weekend! for some reason in columbus, everyone really celebrates on the 3rd. so, on the 3rd we rode our bikes to our friends' zach and katie's and had some drinks, then went downtown to see the big fireworks display. we then went to a new restaurant, dirty franks, for a late night snack. then on the 4th we went to our favorite little town, granville, for their street fair. (it's a small, gorgeous little town that you must see next time you're in town). we even got to play a few games of bingo, and jamie won our very first hand! after the fair we went to new albany for their fireworks. and on sunday jamie and i had a little cookout, just the 2 of us. it was a great weekend!

our honeymoon

sorry we are such slackers! here are a few pics from our honeymoon in ocho rios, jamaica. we had a great time, even though we didn't see the sun for more than 10 minutes. everyone was so friendly. jamaicians are soooo sarcastic, which of course i love! now we just need another vacation to look forward to!
